Hi my name is Cody Veenstra I'm 23 years old and race sprint cars. I race a Winged Asphalt Sprint Car at Meridian
Speedway. I have a raced in the USAC Western States Sprints with one won at Eureka Speedway in northern California and finished
5th in points my first year. I also ran with USAC National Sprint in Indiana and surrounding states.
I graduated High School in Emmett, Idaho and am trying to make racing my living. I've been racing since I was
8 years old and it is my passion, to go fast and race anything I can get my hands on.I've worked on race cars my
whole life and am eager to learn more about chassis' , and shocks and car set-ups. .Thankfully
with tons of help and support I had moved to indianapolis to further pursue my career. It was a great learning experience
but I am back home in Meridian now running a Winged Sprint and got a chance to run a legend which was pretty fun. My goal
for the 2009 season is try to win the championship lost it in by only 1 point to Ken Hamilton a few years ago so
i would like a chance again.

Now that i'm back in Idaho i am workin as a Welder/Fabricator at a welding shop and currently reside in Meridian,Idaho
and love it. I enjoy camping and BBQ, fun nights at the race track and hangin with friends
